2022

May: I started my summer internship at Google Research on the Consumer Health Research Team! I’ll be working on understanding users’ pregnancy and postpartum journeys through biometric data.

April: I successfully defended my dissertation proposal!

March: I am attending the 2022 CRA-WP Grad Cohort Workshop for Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Leadership Skills (IDEALS) from March 24th - 26th in San Diego, CA.

2021

September: I was selected as a Google CS Research Mentorship Scholar for 2021!

September: I’m co-organizing the 6th International Mental Health: Sensing and Invervention Workshop this year!

July: Our work on investigating users’ perceptions of light behaviors in smart speakers has been accepted at CUI’21!

2020

September: I got selected to be a student volunteer at CSCW’20!

July: I got selected to be a student volunteer at UbiComp’20!

July: Our paper on investigating substance co-use with Apple watches got accepted to the 5th International Mental Health: Sensing and Invervention Workshop at UbiComp’20.

2019

November: I got selected to attend the 2020 CRA-WP URMD Grad Cohort in Austin, TX!

September: Our work on investigating users’ perceptions of smart-speaker light behaviors has been accepted at CSCW’19 Companion! I will be presenting this work as a poster at Austin, TX, 9th-14th November.

August: I was elected as the President of the Grad Student Association in IST. Looking forward to making GIST into a more inclusive and happenning community!

May: Exciting News: I successfully passed my Qualifying Exam! I am now a PhD Candidate.

2018
